JUNE/JULY 2025 INTERNATIONAL ORDER SHIPMENT HOLD INSTRUCTIONS:
FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS ONLY, I will hold your June shipment and combine it with your July shipment. I will issue the combined shipping refund within a week of fulfilling your combined June/July shipment.
**If I do not receive an email requesting a hold, I will ship your June order.**
Here’s what you need to do if you are interested in having your international shipments held and combined:
(1) After you place your first order, email customerservice@luridlacquer.com with the subject line “INTERNATIONAL HOLD- Order # [XXXXX]”
(2) If you place more than one order in June, please send separate emails for each of your additional orders with the subject line “INTERNATIONAL HOLD- Order # [XXXXX]”.
(3) Once you place your July order and are ready to have your orders shipped, please email customerservice@luridlacquer.com with the subject line “RELEASE MY SHIPMENTS- Orders # [XXXXX] and [XXXXX]” (and any additional order numbers)
My husband and I will be manually flagging each order that you would like to have us hold for you in this period, so you must let us know if you want us to do this. If you don’t send the request email(s), we will not hold the shipment.
PLEASE NOTE: requesting the hold service may extend the turnaround time for shipping. International orders take a lot of time to prepare because of customs paperwork and additional packaging requirements. If I am getting a lot of shipment release requests in a short amount of time, I may need more than my standard turnaround time to fulfill them. I have never held orders like this before, so I cannot give a more specific estimate, but I will email an update if there will be delays for order fulfillment.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: I am only offering this for the period of time that I am experimenting with the open shop format (through 7/31).
Authorized Retailers/Stockists:
There are currently no authorized retailers or stockists for my products aside from my own website. If you are purchasing Lurid Lacquer products from anywhere other than luridlacquer.com, I cannot guarantee their authenticity. I do not offer refunds or replacements for items purchased from Mercari/destashes or unauthorized international re-sellers.

International Shipping:
I offer UPS shipping for international customers in select countries via UPS Standard and UPS Worldwide Expedited.
I do not have the ability to assess customs, duties, taxes, and fees at checkout. International orders will all be shipped DELIVERY DUTY UNPAID. This means that you will be responsible for paying the additional duties/taxes/fees that the carrier and your country charge for imported products. Please call your local UPS branch to find out more about applicable brokerage fees for each shipping service.
I am offering a $10 USD discount for international orders over $75 USD. To be eligible, you must purchase either UPS Standard international shipping or UPS Worldwide Expedited international shipping. Use code 'INT10' at checkout. **Domestic orders that use this code will be canceled.**

Domestic Shipping:
I offer USPS Ground Advantage and UPS Ground as shipping options.
Domestic orders $75 and up will ship free via USPS Ground Advantage.
USPS Lost/Missing Mail:
If you believe your package is lost:
(1) When 10 days have passed after the initial delivery estimate, please email customerservice@luridlacquer.com with your order number. I will file a Missing Mail Search Request form on your behalf (it takes about 24 hours to show this status update in your tracking, and it always shows Atlanta, GA as the location).
(2) If there has been no movement or update since your initial Chicago distribution center scan after 28 days, please email customerservice@luridlacquer.com and I will offer you a refund (or replacements, if available).
Please note that USPS does not guarantee delivery dates for Ground Advantage (they are only estimates). Please also note that it seems that USPS' transition to Ground Advantage has led to longer than usual delivery times.
Combined Shipping:
Orders are automatically eligible for combined shipping if they meet the eligibility criteria: they must be placed by the same person using the same email (they must all be purchased through the same Shop customer profile). Name, billing address, shipping address, email/phone number must match across transactions for Shipstation to recognize you as the same customer and combine your orders.
You will not receive the shipping overage refund until I begin the shipping process (usually 1-2 weeks after the close of the shop). There may be a delay of several days between when I create your shipping label and when you receive the refund notification.

Are your collections limited edition?
My collections are semi-limited edition. I am a one-person team operating out of a small in-home workspace. Because of time, space, and financial constraints, I cannot keep products stocked permanently, but I will do my best to bring back highly requested shades when I am able.

What is an overpour?
Overpours are extra products that are left over from their original release. Restocks are shades are that I have re-batched to offer again in the shop.
Return Policy:
All sales are final. However, if you received a broken/damaged or otherwise defective item, please email customerservice@luridlacquer.com with a picture of the item so I can assist you.
Products/Ingredients:
Lurid Lacquer polishes are vegan and are not tested on animals. They are also 10-free (free of formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin, camphor, parabens, phthalates, fragrance, ethyl tosylamide, and xylene).
Every polish contains:
Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isobutyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acrylates Copolymer, Stearalkonium Bentonite, N-Butyl Alcohol, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Benzophenone-1, Silica, Alumina, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Violet 2
Polishes may also contain:
Black 2, Blue 1, Borosilicate, Chromium Oxide Green, Cosmetic White, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Hydrated Chromium Oxide, Iron Oxides, Magnesium Fluoride-Coated Aluminum Mixture, Manganese Violet, Red 6, Red 7, Red 28, Red 30, Red 33, Red 34, Red 40, Reflective Glitter (Polyethylene Terephthalate, Amino Resin, Carboxypolymethylene, Acrylic Resin, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Aluminum), Silicon, Titanium Dioxide, Ultramarine Blue, Violet 2, Yellow 5, Yellow 10, Pigment Green 7, Polyester-3, Polyester-11.
Lurid Lacquer nail polishes are mixed by hand. Because they are handmade products, batches may vary slightly.
Some pigments require a more viscous base to suspend them. Glitters, flakies, and polishes with a heavy aurora load have a slightly thicker base than polishes with a lighter pigment load. Polishes containing flakies and reflective glitters may thicken over time and may require a drop or two of polish thinner to return to their original viscosity. I recommend polish thinner that contains *only* butyl acetate and ethyl acetate, which are the main ingredients in nail polish suspension base. For best results, avoid thinners that contain heptane, as it can dissolve glitter.
Pigments can fade over time. I test all of my ingredients for fading, but certain pigments (purples, pinks, neons) are more prone to fading than others. I cannot guarantee that polishes won’t fade after 6 months. For best results, store your nail polish in a dark, climate-controlled place. UV exposure accelerates fading.
