In the Weeds is inspired by my disasters in the garden, my endless battles with invasive species plants, and my strong aversion to insects. My personal nemeses are the highly invasive white mulberry tree (Morus alba) and the burdock plants that grow in sneaky places and get their nasty burrs tangled up in my dog's fur.

Many of the polishes from In the Weeds were polishes that it broke my heart not to include in Thistle and Thorn... so I released them anyway! Think of this as a companion color story to Thistle and Thorn.

These polishes made their debut as the gifts with purchase that I gave to the first 20 customers of the Thistle and Thorn launch in January.
