The Cartagena Querida Collection is inspired by my husband’s hometown, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Ramón has been feeling deeply homesick for the past few years, so I made this collection to honor the beauty and vibrancy of his city.

The colors of this collection are inspired by the architecture of the city’s historic center, the Caribbean Sea, and the lush greenery of the neighborhood where my husband grew up.

As gorgeous as the city is, the highlight of every visit to Cartagena is spending time with my husband’s family. I couldn’t resist including a polish named after jugo de tomate de árbol (tree tomato juice), which we often drink during lunch at his aunt's house.
