May’s collection is dedicated to and inspired by my husband, Ramón. I tease him relentlessly about his stubbornness (the man is a triple earth sign born in the Year of the Ox), so naturally, I couldn’t resist the urge to tease him about it poetically, too.

My husband truly is my rock, my shelter, my most enthusiastic supporter. He is the most grounded, gregarious, even-tempered person I’ve ever met. He has a gentle, calming presence and the world’s best laugh. When he’s happy, he kicks his feet and giggles with boyish delight and it’s the cutest fucking thing in the world.

I knew within days of meeting him that I would marry him.

We have been married civilly since October 2012, but May 24th, 2014 was the day of our wedding celebration. How fitting, 10 years later, to launch this collection in celebration of our love. ❤️
