Changes to payment and shipping options, plus GWPs

UPDATE FROM 7/24/2024: Free shipping is returning to USPS Ground Advantage now that service has improved dramatically. UPS Ground will be available for purchase for those who prefer it.
We've got some changes coming to the shop when we open on March 15th at 6pm Central:
I am no longer accepting PayPal payment. I had an utterly nightmarish experience with PP at the first release. PayPal Business claimed that I violated their user agreement and flagged me as “high risk” (presumably because I, a new business, went from $0 in sales to several thousand dollars in sales in a week—you know, as new businesses tend to do). They revoked seller protection and told me they would never do business with me again. They also said that they would hold my profit in PayPal (over $8K) for 180 days. I threatened to seek legal representation and they reversed the decision with zero explanation as to why my account was ever flagged in the first place. I understand that many customers love and rely on PayPal, and that this might mean that some of you will no longer shop Lurid Lacquer. I thank you for your patronage up to this point, but I will not work with an unreliable payment processor that arbitrarily freezes my access to the funds I need to run my business.
We will be adding UPS Ground shipping as an option. You will now be able to choose between USPS Ground Advantage and UPS Ground.
All orders that qualify for free shipping (purchases over $75) will ship via UPS Ground this time. Please note: we may not offer free UPS Ground at releases after March 2024, but until we feel confident that the postal delay situation at the Chicago distribution center is fully resolved, we will be shipping large orders via UPS.
We are going to experiment with offering combined shipping for this release. I cannot guarantee that I will ever offer this again, but I will do it for the March release and assess whether it’s something I can feasibly offer again or not.
There will be a gift with purchase (GWP) polish for the first 20 orders. There are five possible shades: 4 shimmers and one holographic polish with shifting shimmer. Several of the GWPs have silly names, as they are inspired by inside jokes between my best friend Margaret (to whom the collection is dedicated), my sister, and I. Just like last time, the GWPs from March will return for purchase at a later date.
